Tips on getting apprenticeship

I've been grinding trying to get an apprenticeship this last year. At first , I had no experience and didn't get any bites so I decided to go to a trade school, it took about 7 months and had in person and online training. It's been a couple weeks since completion but I'm still having trouble getting a call back. I have a clean background and other job experience, just not anything manually labor oriented or trade oriented. Is calling different places a good idea or should I go in person? What did you do to get your apprenticeship and how long did it take you to get one? Im very interested in making a career out of this. Maybe I sound too nervous in the interviews I have had. Anyway what are some tips Ps I've gotten an offer from roto rooter but the people here have made it clear to stay away. Any experience with that? submitted by /u/ADHDbroo [link] [comments]
