No water pressure in house

Just moved into my new home, which has a well pump. Randomly today, the water stopped working. No water is coming from the faucets and pressure gauge on well is 0. . I checked the power to the well and the switch, they were both on. I did not hear the well pump running at all. I got a pressure switch, new galvanized nipple, and new pressure gauge from the store thinking that replacing them would help. However, I have been trying to drain all the water from the water pressure tank using drain hose on red valve to empty the water pressure tank first and it is taking forever to empty although there is no water coming through the faucets in the house. I have filled up five 27 gallon totes and there is still water coming out. I'm not sure what is going on and I don't have enough totes to fill up all of the water. Is this normal? I'm not sure what to do. I don't really understand plumbing at all and I'm afraid to do anything because I was reading a lot and it doesn't seem like there is a pressure relief valve on my well and I don't want it to burst if I touch anything. I'm not sure what to do or what I should do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you! https://preview.redd.it/z9p885d5xor61.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16830d649c62867db3622ef557422662c15b5acb submitted by /u/Zealousideal_Town_72 [link] [comments]
