New hot water tank with Pex for feeder lines.

The house i bought last year had a new natural gas hot water tank installed by a local plumber/company 2 months prior to me purchasing the house. For some reason they decided to use Pex for the first 8 inches of both feeder lines. If i call them and say they need to correct their install, how likely do you think they would fix it? How likely is this to fail? Would i see a small leak at first, or is this something that would catastrophicly fail? submitted by /u/sheik482 [link] [comments]
