Hose bib line install size, 3/4 pex or 1/2 when adapting from 1/2 copper?
So I have a small amount of plumbing experience, good enough where I’m replacing a leaking hose bib line and transitioning it from copper to pex. My coworker told me to adapt the 1/2 copper to 3/4 pex from whereever I cut on. Is this a true thing? He mentioned that the inside diameter of 3/4 pex equals the inside diameter of 1/2 copper.
