[Help] Home well inlet line extension question
Is there anything inherently wrong with extending my basement well line in this fashion: Picture The well line comes in about 2' from the floor in the front left corner of my house. To extend it to the opposite corner, I would need to add a 90 and go vertical, then a 90 to go across the width of my basement ceiling, a 90 to run down the length, and a final 90 to go down to connect to the newly located pressure tank. My well is already about 120' deep and uses a 1/2hp, 6GPM submersed pump. I guess my question is simply, does adding this extra length matter at all? I plan on using the same 1" black poly to reach the pressure tank and brass fittings for the 90s. Any other insight would be great Thanks submitted by /u/z0nghits [link] [comments]
