Drain Snake got stuck in sewage pipe, how to get out?

In the process of backing out my plumbers snake from the basement drain (drain cemented in the ground to main sewage line) the lock screw on my snake snapped off and I can't clamp down on the snake/spring anymore and I can't get it to spin in either direction. Any tips on being able to clamp down on it and spin it out? Been using different wrenches and such and the snake just spins inside the teeth of the wrench. submitted by /u/Sigaromanzia [link] [comments]
