Adding laundry sink to washing machine drain

I want to add a laundry sink to my current washing machine drain and I am was looking to see if my current plans will work or am I so far off the mark I should just call someone to do it for me. Here are some picture of what I have and what I would like to change. current drain vent going through floor terrible MS paint drawing of what I want to do So what I was thinking of doing is to cut off the current sanitary tee so I can replace it with a double tee. Then using some 45's bring the vent pipe off my foundation wall about 4” so I can insulate behind it. The drain going off to the left will be the same one that's there now for my washing machine and I would like to add a sink drain to the right side of the tee. The inlet for the sink drain needs to be in front of the double tee and I was thinking of using a bunch of 90s horizontally to bend the drain to get it where I need it. I just don't know what is code and if you can use those on a drain as I have never seen it before. The other thing I am worried about is not having enough pipe to glue to if I do cut the current tee off. Could I cut above the bottom hub of the tee, make several cuts in the remaining bits of the hub glued to the pipe then chisel them off so I can glue the new double tee in the same spot? Thank you for your help. submitted by /u/instanoodles84 [link] [comments]
